Bowness Seniors Centre is a Registered Not-For-Profit Society established in 1966.
Our Mission is to enhance the well being & quality of life for our senior community members by providing a welcoming space for social engagement, support and enriching experiences.
Our Vision is to be a leader and area hub for health, active aging excellence; where seniors thrive, connect and age in place with dignity, creating a vibrant and inclusive community for all generations.
We are located in Bowness two blocks south of Bowness Road.
Membership – Annual memberships are available for $25.00.
Yearly Basic Memberships for $25.00.
Memberships last for a year, and starting in August, 2024, the date to renew your membership is the anniversary date of your original membership. You will receive email reminders when your membership renewal is due.
Yearly Super membership for $40.00. Super Membership allows you to go to events at affiliated seniors’ activity centers in Calgary as if you are a member at that center. Current affiliated groups include (not an exhaustive list): Bow Cliff Seniors, Parkdale Nifty Fifties Seniors Association, Greater Forest Lawn 55+ Society, Confederation Park 55+ Activity Centre, Unison at Kerby Centre (Calgary), Ogden 50+ Activity Centre, West Hillhurst Go-Getters Association.
