Annual Cookie Competition
Our annual holiday cookie competition is back for another year and we couldn’t be more excited. If you have any question call us at (403) 286-4488.
All cookies need to be brought to the centre before 9 am on December 6th.
Details
We will be offering 2 categories for both age groups. (Youth is typically 15 yrs of age and younger. Adult is 16 years old or older (no age limit!)
- Judged: Cookies are reviewed by three special judges as to taste, or decoration or some other special feature. Competitors bring 12 cookies total, (6 for our judges to taste, 6 for our bake table to sell. Packaged Separately) and will received a number (to keep everything anonymous) on the day of the event.
- Peoples Choice: The public buys however many tasting tickets they’d like, then tries that amount fo cookies to vote on wich one they think it the best. Competitors bring 24 cookies, and the public will be given voting tokens to indicate their favourite cookies after tasting.
All competitors MUST BRING 2 COPIES OF YOUR RECIPES — one copy for our website, and a second copy for judges/public to know what the ingredients are in case of allergies.
If you are in both judging streams, please bring a total of 3 copies.

We invite the public to come and taste, as well as enjoy the festivities of holiday music! The event is free to attend. There will be a baking table with lots of holiday treats for you to buy and take home. Also a simple soup and bun meal for lunch at a cost of $6.00 if you wish to have lunch (please pre-register to make sure you don’t miss out!). Tasting tickets are $1/cookie — such a deal!!
